A good value for money place to stay near the Acropolis museum in Athens

A very friendly and convenient place to stay for a city break or business, good value for money. In my case I was at a conference held in the Acropolis Museum. It is a 7 min walk from the museum, very clean and comfortable, a studio apartment with all amenities for self catering. The really nice surprise was that hot breakfast was brought to the room at a time one specifies, chosen from a menu of three types of breakfast. I was on my own and they really looked after me. The only thing better would have been if I had a view to the Acropolis but even so the place left me with a really warm feeling.

The welcome was above and beyond expected for the time we arrived. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and the hotel was clean, perfectly positioned for everything we wanted to do. The views were spectacular from the roof top restaurant with a spectacular view of the Parthenon. We only had a couple of days here but would happily do back again - thank you to all who made us feel welcome.

I visited NLH Flix in April 2024 and I must say that it has one of the biggest rooms I have ever come across in Europe . The room is very spacious equipped with a kitchenette, a sofa and one extra bed for kids . Although the bathroom is quite small. The location is excellent, right in the city centre , very close to Acropolis and Plaka . The down side is that the hotel has only rooms , no restaurant, no laundry and no staff . The reception is very very small and everything in the hotel is outsourced. The breakfast comes in a packed box with very limited menu , laundry is outside and every other thing has to be procured from outside. But I must say the people at the reception are very cooperative and helpful . So if you just have to sleep and not spend much time in the hotel then u can opt for NHL Flix else u can look for better options in Syntagma Square .

We had a family room and it was spacious, very clean, the shower was wonderful and water pressure was exceptional. The staff was beyond accommodating, Vassili, Angela and the rest….lovely people! 10 minute walk to the Acropolis, Plaka etc…metro 2 minutes away. Great location, we highly recommend this hidden gem!

Three nights at the NLH Fix

I spent three nights at the NLH Fix on a family vacation with my wife and two teenagers. The room was larger than expected with a twin bed, sofa and roll away. The staff was friendly and there was a nice choice of restaurants a few minutes away around the corner. The Acropolis was about a 15-20 minute walk. Overall a nice stay.
